I love the idea how events happen in gw2, and i dont know if this has been implimented but you should create the AI enemies smarter to know whether they can win a battle or not based on the number of foes they face. Reason for this is that if they run off before the end they could come back stronger later. or it could continue with a quest to hunt them down. it might create a bigger challenge plus if a player clears out the area but a few escape... they could by chance come back with more numbers to take it over again and another player(s) might get a chance to experience it. (unless the first player cleared them out the first time).
