I was thinking how mutch work has to be done after a long fight with tons of enemies, regarding all the items and gold you have to pick up. My suggestion is that the minipets can be used for this. The minipet runs around when enemies drop items or gold or whatever, and picks it up. After the fight you can simply collect the items you want to keep from a "list", the same type of list you get after a mission in gw when there are items that arent collected. When the minipet is "full" you have to collect the items you want to keep, and send the minipet of to collect more.
I was also thinking that the size of the "bag" had something to do with the color of the minipet(so that the rare minipets waren't just desired for the rarity, but also for usage). Example:
white: 10 slots purple: 15 slots gold: 20 slots green: 25 slots
