Racial skills are special abilities available to each of the playable races. They can be equipped on the five last slots of the skill bar, depending on their type.

Racial skills

Asura

Some asura racial skills change depending on the krewe the asura is currently a member of; Golemancer (Canni), Weapon (Bronk), Chaos (Zinga), or Experiment (Blipp). Each krewe has unique skills which are only usable while a member of that krewe. Unlocked skills are kept when changing between krewes and can be changed by visiting the character's home instance in Rata Sum.

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Air of Superiority — Passive: Gain a random effect whenever you kill a foe (cooldown: 5 seconds). Active: Heal yourself.

Your next attack has a +50% chance to critical hit

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Technobabble — Daze target foe.

Golemancer Krewe

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Summon Bit Golem — Deploy a golem to assist you.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Bit Golem Barrage — Call down an artillery barrage at target area, damaging foes.

Weapon Krewe

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Blasting Rod — Blast target foe with energy.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Phaser — Equip a phaser.

Chaos Krewe

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Pain Inverter — Gain Retaliation and confuse nearby foes.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Radiation Field — Create a radiation field at target area, causing poison and weakness to nearby foes.

Experiment Krewe

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Aptitude — Passive: Gain +5 precision whenever you kill a foe (maximum 25 stacks and ends on down or weapon change). Active: Gain Fury.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Fortitude — Passive: Gain +5 compassion whenever you kill a foe (maximum 25 stacks and ends on down or weapon change). Active: Gain Regeneration and Vigor.

Golemancer Krewe

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Summon Golem — Deploy a golem to assist you.

Weapon Krewe

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Power Suit — Summon a power suit for you and your allies to use.

Chaos Krewe

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Mysterious Stone — Summon a random creature to assist you.

Experiment Krewe

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Mastery — Passive: Gain +5 power whenever you kill a foe (maximum 25 stacks and ends on down or weapon change). Active: Gain Might and Protection.
Charr

Some charr racial skills call members of the character's warband. Each member has unique skills and abilities. Additional members can be recruited during the personal story and selected to be called upon by interacting with them in the home instance in the Black Citadel. (Legion members can be hired with coin to unlocked different types of allies; maintaining balance so players do not regret decisions during the story line)

Utility skills
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Battle Roar — Grant Might and Fury to nearby allies.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg War Supplies — Equip a kit that replaces your weapon with supply skills.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Smoke Powder — Gain stealth and create a cloud of smoke, blinding nearby foes.
Elite skills
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Warband Support — Call in members of your warband to assist you.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Battle Rage — Grant Might, Swiftness, and quickness.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Invisible Stalker — Gain Fury. Vanish in stealth, even if you attack (maximum 3 attacks).
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Charrzooka — Equip a charrzooka.
Human

Some human racial skills' effects change depending on the god the character is blessed by; Balthazar, Dwayna, Grenth, Kormir, Lyssa, or Melandru. Characters can visit each of the gods' statues in Divinity's Reach to change the blessing to a different god.

Balthazar: Passive: Improves power. Active: Gain Might and burn nearby foes.
Dwayna: Passive: Improves compassion. Active: Heal and revive nearby allies.
Grenth: Passive: Improves expertise. Active: Fear and siphon health from nearby foes.
Kormir: Passive: Improves precision. Active: Removes conditions. Breaks stun.
Lyssa: Passive: Improves concentration. Active: Daze nearby foes.
Melandru: Passive: Improves toughness. Active: Bleed and cripple nearby foes.
Elite skill
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Avatar of the Gods — You are blessed by the gods. Become an avatar of the gods, changing your healing and utility skills.
Norn

Some norn racial skills' effects change depending on the Spirit of the Wild the character is guided by; Bear, Raven, Snow Leopard, or Wolf. Characters can visit each of the lodges in Hoelbrak to change the guidance to a different spirit.

Raven: Passive: Improves precision. Active: Gain Fury and distortion.
Snow Leopard: Passive: Improves toughness. Active: Gain Protection and stealth.
Wolf: Passive: Move 10% faster. Active: Gain Swiftness and quickness.
Elite skill
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Heart of the Wild — You are blessed by the spirits of the wild. Shape-shift into a beast form, changing your weapon skills.
Sylvari

Some sylvari racial skills have passive and active effects, similar to signets. Unlike signets, the passive effects are not lost after activating the skill.

  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Recuperation — Passive: Reduce duration of conditions on you. Active: Heal and remove conditions.
Utility skills
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Grasping Vines — Entangle target foe, causing immobilization until the vines are destroyed.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Spore Satchel — Equip a kit that replaces your weapon with spore skills.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Seed Satchel — Equip a kit that replaces your weapon with seed skills.
Elite skills
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Thorns — Passive: Chance to bleed foes attacking you. Active: Gain Retaliation. Bleed and cripple nearby foes.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Oakflesh — Passive: Improves toughness. Active: Gain Protection and stability.
  • Mirror of Delusions.jpg Wild Growth — Passive: Gain a random boon every ten seconds. Active: Gain Might, Regeneration, and Vigor.
