Rooftop Fractal[edit]

In this fractal, players will be chasing thieves, who have stolen several pieces of Logan and Jenna's armor, across the rooftops of Divinity's Reach, above and into top floors of houses along the way, before having a standoff in the upper reaches of the castle.

Objectives

Retrieve the three stolen royal artifacts
- Retrieve the Royal Seal
- Retrieve the Royal Scepter
- Retrieve the Royal Mantle
Return to the Castle
- Defeat Confessor Irran

Walkthrough[edit]

- Recovering the artifacts

Players will begin the fractal by entering the open windows in front of them, which will startle the elite Thief enemies. They will run off, and the players have to chase them. It is entirely possible to kill one of the enemies before they reach their respective bases.

The majority of this fractal involves chasing the thieves across the rooftops of upper Divinity's Reach, and the thieves and a small group of enemies which will appear to slow the player down will not do much damage; they will instead focus on trying to slow players or knock them off the rooftops. If any player falls off these sections, they'll be respawned, downed, near the entrance of the fractal.

All three of the thieves carrying the artifacts will not use any skills which target the player, but will use skills to outmenouver them.

Once each thief reaches their "base" (the top of one of the various houses in the district), the artifacts will be transferred to minor bosses, each with their own patterns listed below. These will be elite enemies, but will have no accompanying foes; they are fought one on one.

-> Royal Seal

The boss spawned upon reaching this base will be called "White Mantle Messenger".

This boss will use signet skills from any class exclusively; it has no auto attack. This fight relies mainly on large amounts of conditions, as most of the passive effects of the signets will not effect the enemy NPC.

-> Royal Scepter

The boss spawned upon reaching this base will be called "White Mantle Sycophant".

This boss will exclusively use Scepter skills from any profession. This fight relies mainly on direct damage.

-> Royal Mantle

The boss spawned upon reaching this base will be called "White Mantle Ritualist"

This boss will exclusively use transform skills from any profession. The only non-self targeting skills is Moa Morph, which will diable a player for a few seconds. Otherwise, this is a pretty standard fight.

Once either each thief is killed, or each boss, the player will be called back to the Castle.

- Confessor Irran

The confessor serves as the main boss for this fractal; defeating her will end the fractal. During the fight you will have the aid of Princess Jenna.

This fight is fairly complicated, due to the confessor being able to summon reinforcements at any time. She will do so frequently. Although these enemies are non-elite and easily killed, it is imperative they are dealt with quickly; most of her shouts will effect these summoned adds as well. She will also periodically cause a player to become "neutral", allowing them to be effected by skills that target both hostiles and friendlies, including AoE's. Moving near Jenna will remove this effect.

Including both these effects, she will at preset intervals (at 75% and 25% health for any fractal under level 10, these will steadily increase until they are unpredictable as well) make any adds with her become invulnerable for a few seconds (1 at lower levels, moving towards 5 higher levels).

Achievement

Shoot the Messenger - Kill all the thieves before they reach their home bases.
