Feedback:User/Nathe/Leave Gwen/Thackery story as is

It was mentioned that the Live Team wants to add new content to Wintersday. That's cool, but does that include adding to the Gwen/Thackeray story arc? Because it's fine as it is now. Not everyone likes the pairing, after all. Some do, some don't. The way the characters' interactions are currently shown, it's ambiguous enough that it could be see either way, either the beginning of a romance or just the act of a concerned friend. It's also bothersome that, despite our character doing all the work in the quest, he or she says nothing at all. So this is, in fact, a two-part suggestion.

1. Don't add anything more to the Gwen/Thackeray story arc. Left as is, both people who like the pairing and people who don't are happy because the existing dialogue can be interpreted to go either way.

2. Tweak the ending dialogue of the Wintersday Cheer quest so that our character says a few of the lines instead of Thackeray. Not all of them, just a couple, to show that the gift is as much from our character as it is from Thackeray. No need to change the actual dialogue itself. Just who says a couple of the lines.

The second part would be nice, but it's okay if you can't do it. Just as long as the first part is done. Which, incidentally, doesn't require you to actually do anything at all. Just don't add anything more to this part of the GW lore. Leave it for us players to decide, each in our own mind, what happened. Not everything needs to be cleared up and officially declared. And see what you can do about Thackeray's hair, if you can. It's kind of silly, really. Topknots only look appropriate in feudal Japan.
