Feedback:User/Owensar/Expanded HoM Fellowship Statues

The monument of Fellowship stands currently to honour the heroes and pets of GW1. Looking forward to GW2 and the removal of heroes leaves this monument somewhat confusing. We know from GW2 we will however be able to play as rangers. Ranger pets exist in both games and while certain species like Moa may continue to live, others might not.

My suggestion is a larger implementation of statues to honour pets in GW1.

Problems:

  • Currently the default pet companion statue does not list the species or evolution of the pet.
  • Default companion statue is just that, default and looks bad when positioned with more than 1 of the same.
  • Only 3 of the Exotic/Rare pets are currently displayable as unique statues, Black Widow, Black Moa and Imperial Phoenix.
    • Species like the Moss Spider, considered extinct in Post-Seering Tyria would be a valid choice for a statue, as would the rare Rainbow Phoenix.

Solutions:

  • Add additional statues for all pets that can be shown in the hall.
  • Add the remaining exotic statues to the hall for displaying the moss spider and rainbow phoenix. (Also covered in above solution)
  • Statue is created with active pet name/evolution.

Thoughts:

  • This may well be covered if/when the menagerie is ported to GW2 to allow unlocks of pet types.
