Problem: Better in theory than practice.

  • 3 second casting time
  • Weak as hell spirit, it will NOT stay alive long enough to do decent damage
  • Damage easily remedied by moving away from it, but puts a risk on the Ritualist to place it where it will be useful
  • Foes don't kindly gather around offensive spirits, when they are near them they usually kill them instantly
  • They don't even need to be near them to kill them, they can easily dispose of them from a distance
  • Rising Bile is infinitely better than this

(Note: Suggestions do not stack, but they could.)

Suggestion 1: Cross between Destruction and "silent" Agony. When foes are in earshot of Destruction they build up damage but it doesn't happen till they step out of it's range or if Destruction dies. So if people truly want to avoid any damage they must not even get close to Destruction at all.

Suggestion 3: More damage for every second it's alive. Not sure what would be a good number, but given the fact that it's so easily avoided by moving away from it and it's so easily killed, it's hard to keep get it to do what it's supposed to do.

Suggestion 4: Much higher spirit level, so it can take a beating or actually survive long enough to do what it's intended to.

Suggestion 5: Make it the opposite of how it works now - the faster it dies the more damage it does, hence it wants to be destroyed. If it's not killed it does small damage but functions as a semi main spirit that can be used for other spirit requiring skills.
