This is my idea for the 5th year anniversary. The original idea is/was for when I would ever make a game, wich probably won't happen anyway, but I have been working on it for weeks and it isn't finished yet.

But here it is after I gave it a twist so it would "fit" within the GW universe.

Entity Weapons[edit]

This is a gift from the Gods to thank you for the heroic efforts and/or deeds that you have done in the past.

What is an entity weapon?[edit]

It's a weapon that will change itself or can be changed by a special NPC to what the bearer of the entity weapon needs, it can be equipped as a weapon, shield and/or offhand. It changes shape, attribute requirements, etc...

In the original idea, one would also have to "level up" the weapon by killing creatures, when it would level up the weapon would gain the ability to transform into another form/weapon. Let's say you start out with a bow, you level up the bow, you would then get a quest wich let's you choose in wich other weapon you would like the "Entity weapon" to be able to change, in order to level up the entity weapon more you would need to complete the quest.

If that would be so in GW then the weapon would have 10 levels and you would have to do 10 quests in order for the weapon to be able to change into any weapon, shield and offhand. There would be 11 quests in total, 1st quest would be the quest to gain the entity weapon, wich would be level 0 when obtained and have the form of the weapon you initially wanted (i'll try and make it more clear for everyone to understand).

How it works:[edit]

Initially the "entity weapon" should have no mods. Let's say I use it as a bow and have applied some bow/weapon mods to it and decide to use it as a shield then it can't have the bow mods, what happens when it changes to a shield? you get a shield with no mods. What happened to the bow mods? they are "stored" in that weapon for when you decide to use it as a bow again, so nothing would be lost.

When does it change?[edit]

By goeing to an NPC that let's you change the "entity weapon" to what you need.

Or it could be done automatically by "checking" primary and/or secondary profession, attributes, etc...

Examples:[edit]

Ranger:

  • A R/N would get a Bow when the entity weapon is equipped as a weapon, a focus item when equipped as a offhand/shield.
  • A R/W would get a Bow when the entity weapon is equipped as a weapon, a shield when equipped as a offhand/shield.

Warrior:

  • A W/Mo with 9 Axe mastery and 9 Tactics would get a Axe when the entity weapon is equipped as a weapon, and a Tactics Shield when equipped as a offhand/shield.

Monk:

  • A Mo/W with 9 Divine Favor and any amount in Tactics would get a Wand if an offhand/shield is equipped, a Staff when no offhand/shield is eqquiped when equipped as a weapon, and a Tactics Shield when equipped as a offhand/shield.
