Hero extra weapon slot

It would be great if heroes could carry more than one weapon or offhand. A hero equipment pack would be cool, or perhaps could some of the unused slots (cape, costume, hat) on the Hero Inventory panel be used for heroes to carry alt weapons or offhands?
