When the equipment packs were added, no shortcut was made to immediately open them. Though I can't remember where, I do believe there is no clear intention to add the equipment pack to the full inventory display (toggled by default with F9). Instead of doing that, I would like there to be an option added to allow a key to be binded to opening the equipment pack similar to how the backpack, belt pouch, or each bag can be accessed (F5 through F8 by default).
