The Codex Arena now cycles it's skills every 6 hours. While that change certainly improves the format in regards to keeping skills rotating, and giving certain time zones a better chance of getting into a round at the start, it is also has provided some issues.

It's never fun to be booted back to the lobby when you've won a few games, or are finding your stride. To compensate winning teams forced out of their streak, I suggest adding a bonus to all players kicked out of a winning streak of more than one game.

This bonus could possibly be twice the amount of points you just won from your last victory, with or without a Faction bonus.

For example, if you win 15 games in a row, you win 3 points. If you are then kicked soon after, a bonus of 6 points are added. This improvement in rewards would have several positive effects: The approaching skill-change would be seen as an anticipated event for the bonus chance, and teams who are on long streaks are rewarded extra for their effort.

As an aside, it is very difficult to earn points with a 5 win streak goal. If reduced to a 3-win streak instead, the format could be revitalized. Defeat is always demoralizing, however, when the format cannot reach critical mass so that 5 wins are not remotely possible without long waits, even victory can be sour.
