Guild Bank[edit]
I would like to suggest a Guild Bank for Guild Wars 2. This would be to manage any donations made by guild members to purchase services for the Guild Hall as well as for additional storage for items given away in Guild Events.
- The Guild Bank should be able to hold the same amount of gold as a Xunlai Chest.
- The Guild Bank should have the same amount of storage space as a standard Xunlai Chest.
- The Guild Bank should also have the option of storage upgrades.
- Material Storage should also be included.
Securing the Guild Bank[edit]
People I have talked to about this also agree it is a good idea, but their main concern is the security of the Guild Bank as well as trust issues with those managing the Guild Bank.
The easiest way to manage this Guild Bank would be for the Leader of the Guild and at least 2 officers to sign their character names when they withdraw either gold or items from the Guild Bank. Thus giving you a way to track who accessed the Guild Bank. So if by chance these players do try to run away with the Guilds' gold or items their accounts can be banned.
Also the same system can be used to track who made donations to their Guild.
It's a basic concept and shouldn't take much to implement in Guild Wars 2 or even Guild Wars. So please If you do decide to implement this make it free or at least give the guys who suggested it a free Guild Bank for his Guild.
