I'd like to see fewer designs similar to Ranger Luxon Armor and Ranger Elite Druid Armor and more like Ranger Norn Armor and Ranger Ancient Armor. As shown at Women Fighters in Reasonable Armor over at tumblr, it's entirely possible for a lady to be fully clothed and in heavy armor but still be feminine and sexy.
Bare midriffs, daisy dukes, and halter tops are unreasonable in a game that focuses on *killing things*. It's too easy for the enemy to skewer a combatant that isn't wearing an appropriate amount of armor for their type (scholar, adventurer, soldier). It's also unreasonable to assume a character would be perfect at dodging and avoiding attacks, so she would likely end up dead or seriously maimed during training or after a long day of dragonslaying. Having half naked ladies or unreasonably armored ladies running around breaks immersion for that very reason.
An option would be to have a costume that can only be displayed in a safe zone that allows players to run around half naked, but it's important that it be removed when venturing into unsafe areas for the reasons listed above.
