Mesmer Staff Skills[edit]

For more synergy among the Mesmer Staff skills I suggest that skill #3 have some direct damage that increases for the amount of conditions on the foe. This would bring the Staff in line with the Great Sword. Mesmers have all but ignored using the staff in all of the beta videos in favor of the Great Sword, however the potential of the Staff could be unlocked with at least one direct damage skill to capitalize on the conditions it stacks. The player should have at least some control over the damage rather than depending on the Phantasm to attack with this kind of effect. Almost every beta player ignored the Staff in favor of the Sword or GreatSword.

Phantasms[edit]

Phantasms in their current state do not appear threatening enough to foes to cause foes to stop ignoring them. I suggest that Phantasms move or attack more often. If not attack then at least ACT more threatening to the foes. This will help in PvP and cause the Mesmer to look more like an active and fun class to play.

Mesmer Elite Skills[edit]

Mesmer Elites would fall inline with the theme Master Of Illusions if they had huge creature summons. A master of illusions should be able to summon a few Mindblade Spectres from the underworld to fight, or at least 1 or 2 Aatxe. I know those are GW1 creatures but hey, it's an illusion summon.
