The Dervish has become something like an Assassin in Guild Wars: either broken and annoying or underpowered. Hopefully some skill changes can level out this profession and bring back some elbow room back for build creation and play strategies instead of the standard LOL-SCYTHE-BUM-RUSH.


Scythe Mastery[edit]

Wounding Strike Wounding Strike 5 Energy0 Activation time4 Recharge time Elite Scythe Attack. If this attack hits, target foe suffers from Bleeding for 5...17...20 seconds. If you are under the effects of an enchantment, target foe also suffers from a Deep Wound for 5...17...20 seconds. If you struck a target that was already suffering from a condition, this skill recharges twice as slowly.


Lyssa's Assault Lyssa's Assault 5 Energy0 Activation time8 Recharge time Scythe Attack. If this attack hits, you deal +5...17...20 damage and gain 0...4...5 Energy. If you are under the effects of an Enchantment, you also steal up to 0...2...3 Energy from your target.


Rending Sweep Rending Sweep 5 Energy0 Activation time12 Recharge time Scythe Attack. If this attack hits, you deal +5...17...20 damage. If you are under the effects an Enchantment, you lose 1 Hex. If you hit a foe suffering from a Hex, that foe loses 1 Enchantment.


Aura Slicer Aura Slicer 5 Energy½ Activation time10 Recharge time Scythe Attack. This attack deals only 5...29...35 damage. If you struck an attacking foe, he suffers from Weakness for 5...13...15 seconds and Blindness for 1...3...3 seconds. If you struck a foe casting a spell, he suffers from Bleeding for 5...13...15 seconds and is Dazed for 1...2...2 seconds.


Irresistible Sweep Irresistible Sweep 5 Energy0 Activation time6 Recharge time Melee Attack. This attack deals +10...26...30 damage and is unblockable. If this skill hits, you lose 1 Enchantment. If you lost an Enchantment in this way, this skill recharges instantly.

Farmer's Scythe Farmer's Scythe 5 Energy0 Activation time12 Recharge time Scythe Attack. You attack target and adjacent foes and gain 10...42...50 Health. Each attack that hits deals +5...17...20 damage. If you struck more than one target, up to 3 other allies in the area gain 10...42...50 Health.


Zealous Sweep Zealous Sweep 5 Energy0 Activation time10 Recharge time Scythe Attack. You attack target and adjacent foes. Each attack that hits deals +10...22...25 damage. You gain 3 Energy for each foe you hit.


Mysticism[edit]

Pious Renewal Pious Renewal 5 Energy¼ Activation time20 Recharge time Elite Skill. For 8 seconds, the next time you use a skill you gain 0...6...7 Energy, 0...40...50 Health, that skill recharges 50% faster, and you lose 1 Enchantment.
