Ever since inspiration magic was given the once over by Izzy energy drain has been sorely underpowered. It nets both a poor energy return and a meager amount of energy denial while not promoting skilled play. My suggestion is to reward skilled mesmers with energy management and denial in one elite skill.

Suggestion[edit]

Energy Drain Energy Drain - 5 Energy¼ Activation time20 Recharge time Elite spell. If target foe is casting a spell or chant that skill is interrupted and you steal 5...17...20 energy from that foe.
