Alas, for too long hexes have been overpowered. The reason is because they are designed poorly. They last long, have nasty effects, and eat up monk hex removal with huge stacks. My suggestion for this underused example of bad game mechanics aims to turn this skill into a nasty anti-spike skill while needing skill to use. The actual numbers might need a bit of tweaking but I think overall this is a well thought-out suggestion.

Current Stats[edit]

Shadow of Fear Shadow of Fear - 10 Energy2 Activation time5 Recharge time Hex Spell. Also Hexes targets adjacent to target foe. For 5...25...30 seconds target foe attacks 50% slower.

My suggestion[edit]

Shadow of Fear Shadow of Fear - 10 Energy¼ Activation time15 Recharge time Hex Spell. For 0...4...5 seconds target foe's critical hits deal no damage and whenever that foe critically hits that foe's attack skills are disabled for 0...2...3 seconds.
