My thoughts are about projectiles interacting with various elements created by other characters. For instance, in GW2 we already have 2 Elementalist skills (fire wall and static field) and one Ranger skill (bonfire) that interacts with projectiles giving them added bonuses. I had some thoughts on others that may be presented. Some of these suggestions are for classes that may not exist, but the ideas are the same.
- Necro Bone Wall - The wall itself is just that, a wall designed to provide cover. Physical projectiles passing through this wall (for allies only) can collect fragments of bone and as such allow the projectiles to become razor sharp. My thoughts are that perhaps these physical projectiles can gain a bonus to allow them to penetrate 1 target and do a decreased amount of damage to a target behind them.
- Saboteur Vent Trap - This is a trap skill in which poison vents exhaust their gases upwards. Again, physical projectiles that pass through this might gain the ability to inflict poison to their targets.
- Mesmer Chaos - This skill creates a swilling display of dark energy that does damage as others walk through it. Again, the physical projectiles become physically imbued with the chaotic dark energy and replicate. Basically, one arrow goes in, but 2-5 arrows exit based on a trait level possessed by the mesmer.
