Please don't make WoW 2[edit]
I would appreciate if you made GW2 with the essence of GW1 vanilla.
Things I'd rather not see in GW2[edit]
- Linear gameplay - time spent = power in game
- Grind game - "kill 1000 of <enter creature here> then retun to me"
- High level dependence - game begins at max level (higher levels 1 shots lower levels)
- Boring items - GW1 was a great game but it needed deeper itemization for PvE
- Crafts - Crafting, Mining, Forging, Alchemy and so on, no thanks promotes grind game, not really wanted.
Things I'd like to see GW2[edit]
- Dynamic gameplay - time spent * skill of player(s) + some luck = power in game.
- Challenging challenges that are challenging for any level.
- The core of the skill system in GW1
- Epic battles - more PvP modes. PvP matches with hints of PvE in them like a DotA game, with temporary items would be awesome, these items should be bought with temporary PvP gold gained from opposing players or PvP monsters(NPCs) that each side spawns repeatedly to assault the opposing factions fort. "Match_mode"_battles as MammonLord suggested where you start with a pre-set build would be cool too.
- The stunning graphics that we have seen so far in GW1 (except for post Ascalon)
- Mini-games - I love mini-games, would be great if mini-games were playable against other players as well.
