sin attack chains could've been designed very nicely, for example with attack skills that have two ways of going, depending on the situation, not just if this is there then you get this bonus but you can go either way and get the best out of the situation.

examples:

  • leaping mantis sting: 5e 0c 5r, Lead Attack. You deal +1...7...9 damage. If this attack strikes a moving foe, that foe is crippled for 0...3...4 seconds. If this attack strikes a non-moving foe, target foe is weakened for 0...3...4 seconds.
  • black lotus strike: 5e 0c 5r, Off-Hand Attack. You deal +5...12...14 damage. If this attack strikes a hexed foe, you gain 3...7...9 energy. If this attack strikes a non-hexed foe, target foe loses 1...4...5 energy.

of course these would need a LOT of testing and stuff but the idea is there.
