Feedback:User/X Pain Deliverer X/Change Tournament Name Feature

Please Update the Registered Tournament Name Feature with a built in rule that auto deletes the registered name of an account if the registered

name is of a character that doesn't exist any longer so that the name of the character is available to others if they choose to create a new

character with that name. I've been trying to create a new character with a name and get error code = 209, but yet the Friends List states that

character doesn't exist. I've emailed support for help and was told that the name is Registered to the Tournament on an account and so thus the

conclusion is that the name can't be used now. I don't feel that is right for users in terms of character creation as leaving it as is blocks

character names from being used by others. For example, if Joe Blow creates a character named I Blow Chunks Badly, registers I Blow Chunks Badly

as account name for Tournament, deletes I Blow Chunks Badly character, but doesn't update Tournament account name with another character name on

account, (like they forget to update it, or gets account banned) then now the character name of I Blow Chunks Badly isn't available for others to

name a newly created character as such. All of above is an example of how the current naming system works, and leaving it as such blocks active

users of Guild Wars the ability to name newly created characters with the name they desire. Why should others be at the mercy of another if they

truly forget to update their account name on a tournament, or why should others be at the mercy of another especially if one gets their account

banned and therefore cannot update account name thus permanently preventing the new character name. I feel it isn't fair to all players of guild

wars as is, and really should be updated to reflect fairness to all in Guild Wars as Character Creation should be fair to all of Guild Wars even

if one doesn't play a character fairly, surely naming a character should be fair.
