Hi, the targeting's system was already discuss in some way, but still i think it could be optimised much more.
Wich players as we are, didn't had any issues during a fight when targeting goes wrong because, instead of casting you're spell or throwing you're great axe to the second foe closed by, you just pulled another pack of NPC... In every MMO/RPG we've got the same poor targeting system, by the mouse clicking or the tab key, without a nice control.
What do you think if we could have the choice of the range.
Let me explain with a situation[edit]
So i'm a hunt, and my goal is to control with snares,roots...etc 2 adds, during the time my friends are fighting a boss. We didn't clean (or can't) all rooms. I know reactivity and consciousness are the key to my gameplay but it's quiet very anoying/frustrating if i have to change my target (without the mouse click), by spaming the tab key until i'll have the one i wanted.
My suggestions[edit]
- Allowed players when using Tab key = to choose a minimum and maximum range, and also determine the 90* or 180* directional cone in front of them.
- Allowed players to use another *tab key* to select there team mate instead of using F1,F2,F3,F4...key or clicking to them.
So it will be much more comfortable (depend of which professions) to get this kind of control, and get a smooth gameplay.
