Feedback:User/Zayeban/Calling a Target

I saw a big red target mark above a foes head in a dungeon video. I presume it is similar as GW1's Calling Target option ( "ctrl" + "space" ). What bothers me about it is that it still remains on a dead target for a short period, making castes potentially waste their spells/skills and casting time for a couple seconds, not seeing that the marked target is already dead, because they either didn't see the tiny HP bars standing far behind or the flashing of the skills/spells (particle effects) blocked their side of view, for a couple of seconds.

  • Suggestion: A marked target, should immediately lose the mark upon death. Letting the players immediately know that the marked targed is either dead or has swaped the mark by another target.

This way shotting in a marked targets direction will alwasys not be wasted either way. While shooting in a dead marked targets direction is wasted, if there is no other target behind or near to take the hit.

  • Examples: [1] target dies and has still the mark for a few seconds before someone swaps it with another target
[2] target is dead and has the mark. At 1:13 someone swaped the target mark to a player.
[3] [4] [5] target dies and still has the mark.
[6] here is a perfect example of a player wasting spells on a marked dead target.
