I would love to see my future-to-be-character kick a monster up in the air, and just hack and slash it! Not allowing it to fall on the ground until the skill is fully executed. It would be rather exciting if you could use skills as you jump. And a more advanced version would of course be the aerial combos you preform. To be able to do this, the character would need to first push, or throw the monster up in the air, and then commence the skill necessary to keep the monster up in the air. It does not have to be overly advanced really, or powerful for that matter. It could be just a simple throwing of a monster, run towards the monster, and then cut it in the air, resulting in the monster to be thrown away, possibly killed.

I could imagine any of these scenarios taking place:

1. Throw the monster upwards, and then hit it. 2. Jump and use a skill. 3. Throw the monster upwards, jump yourself and then hit it several times, possibly once, but then a strong attack. 4. Hit the monster with a skill that automatically throws both of you up to an aerial combat. 5. A character could grab a monster, throw it up, and then change weapons to keep hitting it in the air.

P.S: If you could only implement one of these things, I'd rather have number 2 in the game.
