Timing[edit]

It took only 12 hours to fix that *cought*, since the event end in less than 12 hours now, are they going to extend a bit at least ? 82.224.68.40 19:49, 17 March 2011 (UTC)nobody

The lucky weekend will be extended till 3/18 11:59 PM PDT (3/19 6:59 AM GMT). » Matthew Moore 20:00, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

I'm wondering whether there'll be an automated weekend event this week. 24.197.253.243 22:56, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Likely the double GvG event, as per usual. Weekend events/2010 --Axis 23:30, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Could we take this occassion to ask (kindly this time) what is going to happen for easter 2011, Matthew can you tell us what is planned? this year its on the 24th april, so it mean it will colide with gw anniversary celebration. Are we going to get cupcake + golden eggs together, or will you arange gw calendar to avoid this. thx. 82.224.68.40 01:35, 18 March 2011 (UTC)nobody
It's too bad they can't just switch them, or celebrate Sweet Treat Weekend early, since it doesn't have to officially coincide with any particular real world event, while the birthday celebration should in fact be on a specific date. --Axis 02:48, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
Actually, Easter is Monday 25/04, so Sweet Treat Weekend has to be on 22-24 week end. Guild Wars Birthday is Thursday 28/04, so they can start 6th Birthday Celebration on 28/04 and make it last until 05/05...Thot 11:33, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
I guess my point was more that Sweet Treats doesn't have to be related to Easter at all, if they don't want to do the scheduling that way. Easter is alluded to with the drops and message, but it's never explicitly stated. The Birthday Celebration is different, as it's an anniversary that does have a set date. Generally, I think it makes more sense for the in-game celebrations to be further apart than less than a week, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. --Axis 05:51, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
What is Easter anyway? I thought it was called April Fools'. --70.90.155.138 05:54, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
