tested it, got same result.. did some more tests with the circles over there, you can easily jump out of all circles, so bigger range then 'in the area' --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 91.182.247.83 (talk).

Tested on Isle of the Nameless and it seems to be precisely in the area when you use a target. But when you step just randomly without target, the distance is random too, and always more than in the area. Interesting. ***EAGLEMUT*** TALK 18:45, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

100% pure speculation here but since the last April Fools quest was based on Terminator I'm guessing we'll be allied with/controlling a captured and re-programmed golem sent back in time to protect Gwen (possibly with her mother) from an even more advanced golem sent to kill her. Maybe also trying to prevent the Charr from being able to maufacture the Annihilator golems in the future. Next year they should do one where you play as the golem again, fighting a female golem and have it end with the Searing. "Guild Wars wiki notes" usually add undocumented changes, like an NPC added somewhere, or a skill change not included in the notes, or things like those. Anything related to the event is documented under "Made preparations for April Fools' Day.", so there's no need to add any separate note related to it, like there's no entries for every single monster skills added with WoC updates.
