Feedback talk:User/A F K When Needed/HoM in Pre
It's a neat idea, but the live team (consisting of less than 15 people) simply doesn't have the man power necessary. This sort of change would be a massive undertaking, not to mention that they would have to adjust already existing lore to accommodate it, which just isn't practical. Pre-searing was designed to be a tutorial and nothing more. They've also said that they will not be making any more changes to pre-searing. Ever. ♥ Tyloric ♣ 01:41, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- They also said backbreaker duration couldn't scale. -Auron 02:54, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
I dont see how it is gonna be "a massive undertaking." OK, adding the HoM itself to pre? yeah i can see that, but what if its not the hall and more like a scrivener/bard/record keeper type NPC. Similar to the NPC's you turn books in to to get rep points, its an NPC recording the achievements of local heroes who goes on to share your tale or whatever which manifests itself as the LDoA title in your accounts HoM. Once you get your title, you go to the NPC, register it or whatever and then on your other character, when in the HoM set to accounts achievments, LDoA will be displayable on the Monument to Honor. --Jimmer123 20:36, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- What if.... theres a messanger or something like a bank that allows 1 way item and title travel from pre to post? upon reaching lvl 20 in pre, u get a cake...? then said cake goes into bank. bank has room for 4 items at a time to avoid making it into a storage. or once items are in storage they cant be removed. anyways... another character on the account grabs the cake in ascalon post searing, goes to hom and dedicated the cake for said pre searing char. actually... a postcard makes more sense... 2 year old cake doesnt seem that tasty... Jimmer123: I didn't say it was difficult or time-consuming. I said ArenaNet would find it that way. See Auron's comment above if you're still clueless. A F K When Needed 16:33, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
