I hope they don't have a day/night cycle at all. They may anyway, but seeing as how people all over the world are playing this, and can play on any server they want, it would be terribly inaccurate. I'd hate to be playing in the day and then switching to the International server to play with a friend makes it go dark and I can't see anything. FloppyJoe 02:03, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

I fully fully fully agree. Fully. ArenaNet is saying about 80 min day and 40 min night. That is just annoying when night will pass by in 40 min, plus happen again less than an hour and a half later. The cycles need to be atleast 2 hours for immersion into the world. Then they can stagger it to allow hard-core-casual players that would play only an hour or less to see different cycles when they log on their usual time or whatnot.
