That sounds reasonable, since similar things can be done with the other displays. --Nathe 20:30, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

I wanted to submit a similar suggestion but finaly found yours, so I'll simply add all my thoughts here. The main problem I see is that the monument for miniatures usually is one of the most over-filled ones, since only 20 of the 50 (needed for full gw2 reward points) can be displayed. In addition, the option 'Cycle displayed minipets' really does cycle the miniatures and is not a randomise function, so there is no possibility to change the relative position of a specific miniature once you displayed it.

Though it would be nice to assign a fixed position to a miniture, I think this is rather complicated or at least unhandy to implement, since the other monuments don't use a drag&drop system for the sorting but rather lots of dialogues with several buttons. Offering 20 buttons, each for one position, does not seem easy to handle for players (and not super-easy for developers). In addition, the order of the 20 positions currently is in a criss-cross-pattern, which either had to be changed or would be difficult for players to use when they aim for a specific position.

Consequently, I would suggest a button to clear the monument and then offer a list of all minitures (each as a button, like the other monuments do) which can be used 20 times in succession. Each time the currently to-be-filled spot on the monument could become a little highlighted or the order of the spots could be simplified.

Generating a customised list of 20 miniatures with this method should be easier to handle than 20 spots with direct-access. –User ARTy sig.png 16:43, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

What ARty said: make it easy to clear the display; make it easy to add one mini at a time. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 01:10, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
