+ 1 Support. Though I probably wouldn't use it myself, I do see the point you're making with regards to poor network connection, physical limitations or disabilities, or poor reaction times. Your suggestion is well-thought out, balanced, works within the constraints of the current dodge mechanic, and offers counters to potential abuses.

One reason twitch-based interrupt skills were removed from GW2 was for this very reason; those with better network connections had a decided advantage when using such skills. Dodge, however, remains a twitch-based mechanic. Though we may never address every disparity resulting from laggy connections, your suggestion certainly succeeds where Dodge is concerned.

I would go so far as to say I feel you over-nerfed it, even. I see no reason why this new Evasion mechanic couldn't be used to also dodge targetted or projectile attacks. Of course, your rationale may have been you want to use Evasion to avoid the massive AoE rather than the run-of-mill attack skill #1; in which case, your original limiter list makes sense. I hope the devs consider your suggestion. Guild Wars 3 perhaps 00:58, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

That's actually a really interesting idea. I could go on but I'd probably just repeat what GW3P has already said. It's a balanced, well-thought-out suggestion, and I support it. Mcscamper 01:32, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
