Feedback talk:User/BattleSage/Attribute Point Tally
O_o? I never heard of anyone asking about that ingame. It IS displayed. In the skills and attributes panel. The maximums are fixed. 200 points. If at level 20 you don't have 200 points, you are yet to do the attribute point quests. "Get to level 20 and make the two attribute point quests". I can't be simpler to explain. How can be anyone irritated about that? MithTalk 19:36, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
This is already visible[edit]
You have to set all your attributes to 0, now you see your attribute point total as available points. In my opinion, there is no need to introduce a separate display that is of no use after you gained all 200 points.
Instead, I suggest an automated chat-message that appears every time you log on with an ascended lvl 20 char that has not his 200 attribute points. This message could tell the player something like this: "Your character has potential for 15..30 more attribute points. See <locations where the attribute quests for his stating campaign are located> for an opportunity to get more attribute points." Since there are many players from Prophecies and Factions who skipped one or both attribute quests, this is probably more useful. --Silmar Alech 12:53, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, if you move the mouse pointer over the textbox with the number of points, the total you have learned so far is shown there. Most textboxes in the Skills and Attributes and Hero panels have tooltip hits. MithTalk 00:45, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- What "box" with the number of points? The only entry is a line on the top of the K menu, and no, mouse-over does NOT display how many of the 200 att points you have. Setting all of your attribute points to 0 is a feasible way to check how many points you have, if you have the time to click that many down arrows, and are in an outpost. Then again, walking back to town or mapping out is an option in every map, yet we have a /resign command. There is a need for the display, as the number one issue I have with people new to my guild is that they haven't the faintest idea how many attribute points they have, or can get. Although the message idea is a nice addition, you don't have to be level 20 to get your extra attribute points, and knowing how many you do have at that point can be useful.
- My bad. They changed it. Now the skills and attributes panel doesn't show the total attribute points anymore. Now that they made the section collapsible, they made the remaining skill points appear in the title of the collapsible section instead in a box, so there is no box, and no tooltip. Now open the Hero panel and move the mouse over the skill points number box. It will show the total amount of skill points earned by the account, and the amount spent. They should at least add the attributes in the Hero panel, between the level and the skill points. The box would show the currently earned ones, and the tooltip would show the currently used ones and the max possible you can get (200). MithTalk 16:08, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
