"'Cartographing' is valid in this mode" No.Rest of it, Yes.--NeilUser Neil2250 sig icon6.png 17:11, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

"This wont really diminish the accomplishment of Cartographers Titles, since most require vanquishing anyway." It doesn't require vanquishing and speaking as somebody who didn't VQ at the same time (I hate to vanquish with full on AI help so why even bother starting a title I will never complete?), this would be overkill. It's annoying but this would make it too easy. I would like to revisit them as ghost towns though. I just finished all 3 recently and while annoying, it wasn't that hard at least. Interesting idea, i support the idea, because the cartographer title now ridiculous, difficult and not fun. Without mobs this would be a bit faster but not simpler.Ladislau 09:15, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

I like the idea of being able to free-roam areas you like, but it could clash with all sorts of quests and would also probably reveal how boring the game is without combat. Definitely wouldn't want to have no enemies spawn. – NuclearDuckie 01:36, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

  • Actually, now I think of it this way – you want to take some screenshots of an area, for whatever reason, but monsters are in the way. So, you clear out the area, then go around and make your pretty photos. Then you leave. Later, you think of a shot you really wanted to get, but you can't now because the area will now be populated again. It's still kinda silly, but there are scenarios where this could be useful. – NuclearDuckie 11:34, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

I like the idea. It doesn't even need to require vanquish - it could be unlocked with hard mode if exploration in "sightseeing" mode wouldn't count towards cartographer title and quest npc won't spawn as well. I think it would be even more great if monsters would still be here, but non-aggresive (and w/o any drops) for even better screenshots. User:Non-registered 21:11, 9 September 2011 (CET)
