Its not a bad idea. I like the idea.

However, I think in GW2, the server are more like districts, but on a larger scale. It should still be do able.

The whole game is a role playing game. So in theory, everyone is role playing.

There was lots of role playing in GW1. Its just a matter of playing with the right group of players.

However, role playing has different meaning to different people. Some player may wants to be sticky medieval fantasy like Dungeon and Dragon, while other players may want to role play a light heart bad ass sin.

So in the end, role playing is what you and your group of friends make of it. The only thing is, one group should not force their idea of role playing or mythology, on another group.
