That is a good idea, and I have felt the same way about it. I mean it would add realism and they already have conditions in the game, it would also have to make people think before they jump down that cliff and land 50 feet below (or any big height that is just a random number). Cause I mean how often do people do that and walk away with nothing wrong, in general characters don't roll or anything they just bend their knees when they land. Most humans (maybe charr and norn could jump from high without injury, kind of like a racial skill. Charr are kind of like large cats and norn, well the norn are the norn, living tanks) would get hurt from that kind of fall. Leaderfreak 16:22, September 18 2010
- It would make sense that the Charr and Norn could survive larger falls and I would like to see them have some kind of agility/strength bonuses vs. other races in game, but it could make it unfair in certain PvP situations is all I'm thinking.
- Also, as a sort of side-note, fall damage should be based on the speed you are going when you hit the ground, not the height you fell, to make it most realistic; although I can't think of a situation where you would slow down mid fall... a skill maybe? or environmental effect of some sort? As far as the suggestion goes, I'm all for it. :) Jarak 01:26, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's indeed a good concept, a lot more realistic. you would at least think twice before jumping, and not only think of it as a shortcut. And they shouldn't be easely dismissed with one or other skill, otherwise you could get rid of it too fast. Miliana 17:24, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
