I always wonder why this hasn't been implemented yet. King Neoterikos 11:32, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Completely agree and I would welcome it, but I can hear the complaints already from people that don't like heroes taking over everything. Xiaquin Crystal Snowflake.png 22:11, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
I H/H everything, and, as such, have beat all the campaigns with several characters. I never really needed this implemented, but, then again, it might be useful to add. Kind of like "In my day, we had to walk uphill in the snow..." but it's "In my day, we had to run the bundles ourselves!" haha FloppyJoe 03:58, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
For me it would be better if you just could give or take the item to them by 'talking' to them, even if you had to pick the item first. That would also allow things like giving items (excluding the ritualist items, of course, those would drop if anyone but the caster ritualist touches them) to other players without dropping them. Currently you do nothing when you select a party member and 'talk' to them. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 15:17, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

"Talking to them" might become annoying if you just want to follow an NPC while holding a bundle.
I think Erasculio summed up every good point and suggested the best realization for this proposal already. It's in fact a drawback for players which are H/Hing with melee characters, and i also missed this feature a few times and also wondered why heroes can't simply pick up a targeted bundle by clicking the bottom left "lock target" icon which can also be used to let them drop bundles created through an item spell. (In fact i supposed this was possible until one day i figured out it's not :D)
So maybe coding it isn't that hard afterall.
As Xiaquin already pointed out there might be complaints about the Heroes doing the player's job. But then again i think there's not so much of a difference whether the player or the accordant hero has the drawback of holding the bundle at that moment. Of course a caster hero will still be able to do far more than a melee character, but the player will also have to watch this hero in particular because he/she decided to pass that responsibility for an important bundle (like the fragile Offering to Melandru). —ZerphatalkThe Improver 13:43, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
I agree with this upgrade, I wanted it long time ago and support the idea of a command icon on the hero bar over the proposition of handling items. Imagine Aurora Glade by 1 player + 5 heroes, the player stands to fight the Mantles while a hero runs the crystals. That is something I would love to see.
