I think this would be nice. Currently elemental weapon upgrades and skills that convert damage types are pretty useless to know, as enemy weaknesses are cryptic. This is a key to strategy in any RPG. I think it could even be extended to give characters affinity according to different armor worn. Xiaquin 03:58, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

I'd suggest a simpler way to add information into the bestiary. You get more information about the enemy in question as you kill more of them. For example: Say, when you kill the same monster a few times you'd know it's weak against some types of attacks and such, upon killing it about 20 times, you could get his exact skill bar. 50 times, health points, energy, AL. 100 times: all the rest. Oh, and there should be a picture in the bestiary of the animal as well :) Sjeng talk 21:36, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

it would be good to have an animal handbook, like the hero's handbook etc, where you can kill animals to fill the book, and give it to a guy for points/gold. there could also be a book for bosses or for HM killing animals.

I agree with Sjeng, I was thinking that exact thing as I was reading it xD More info as you kill more of them. Maybe once you have killed a certain number it shows you their weakness when selecting them, so you don't need to check halfway through a fight? Chibot2000 08:59, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Sjeng's suggestion is probably a bad one. Think about how old Guild Wars is and how many times you've killed a Hydra. Or a Wind Rider, or a stupid fucking dinosaur (srsly Anet fix those damn Ceratadons). I say you kill one of the monster and it's added. I do like the idea, though. -- Dee Strongfist 09:10, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
