Discussion[edit]

I'm not quite following the purpose of this suggestion, why do you want to have more greens? On a side the letting them have unique mods that cannot be replicated is nice. But still i would like to know the reason why. Da Mystic Reaper 14:52, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

During the last double green item drop/double XP elite capture weekend, I realized that most of the green scythes were either outdated, or complete crap (same for most non-dervish greens and mods, but those are not this pages' focus).
My main goals are:
  • Make Avatr-scythe exemplify aspects of there respective gods; compliment the elite Avatar skills and the Acolyte bosses that use them.
  • Make them useful to both Primary & Secondary dervishes (Lyssa for assassins, Melandru for rangers, ect.)
  • Make them competative with frequently used PvP/PvE mods (15/50, Zealous, & Enchanted mods, ect).
  • Avoid "unique counterparts" prevelent in other variants.
Creating more greens was incidental; there were the original 5, but using Grenth as an example, ended up with 5 variations and slapped skill names for inspiration. I realized that what I may consider to be "the perfect green God's scythe" may not be what others deem perfect. (Is it plausible to have both an Icy mod & a Vamp mod on a sinlge grenth scythe?) Then figured I may as well play around with the idea of Prophecies/Factions-versions of those scythes with associated themes; with "God's Cursed" scythes, they will all have heavy drawbacks and represents the most extreme versions of those scythes when taken to their logical conclusion. As they are "UNIQUE", many should have interesting mods (or at least those difficult/costly to replicated).
On a side note, do you know how to code "collapsible articles"? ^_^ --Falconeye 22:51, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Rather than copying names from skills why not come up with some original names and make links to the skin you want them to have. Look at what the gods represent to the humans and base the scythe names (and mods) on that. Da Mystic Reaper 00:51, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
I intend to do so, but coming up with a name/skin that everyone agrees on is daunting. ^_^ --Falconeye 06:27, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
