- Although I support the need to fix the mess that WoC has made of Minister Cho's Estate, what you're asking for is really just a bandaid over the symptoms, rather than a cure for the disease. The disease is that we cannot opt out of the zone changes brought about by WoC. They added persistent change to a game that was not designed for it, and so royally screwed up Cantha.
- I tackled the same issue in my suggestion Improve user choice for WiK and WoC, but my suggestion overcomes the underlying problem by allowing WoC spawns to be reverted at will, rather than just upping team size to cope with the undesired spawns. With one simple mechanism it overcomes this type of problem in all of GW's past and future extension storylines. It makes very efficient use of Anet's developers' time, and lets normal campaign gameplay continue in peace regardless of other storylines. Morgaine 01:06, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
- I know it's a very late response but anyway: The idea behind my suggestion was to NOT revert the changes brought by WoC. I more thought about letting the post-WoC Cantha stay on the harder difficulty, but to give the players more ways to deal with it, to expand our possibilities of dealing with it. Like WiK extended the number of heroes from 3 to 7 and made possible very powerful teambuilds based on the heroes programmed behavior. - Fan-Tastic - 11:42, 31 July 2014 (CEST)
- Memories of Purity wasn't available at the time that you wrote this, but that changes WoC spawns to be afflicted, basically making this suggestion obsolete -Chieftain Alex 17:20, 31 July 2014 (UTC)
