Feedback talk:User/Fanmad/Profession names related to races

It would be good for immersion, but not for gameplay. Instead of 8 names to memorize, you'd have to recall 40. And the wiki would have to write 5 names each time they wanted to refer to a profession. Just as the common language has spread from the humans to every race, I see no harm in allowing the professions to be shared by everyone. Plus, knowing there'll be new professions and semi-new professions (aka guardian), if ANet feels the need for it they can say some professions came from other races besides the Humans. But having different names for them according to the race only increases the learning curve, not to mention it suggests that each race/profession combo has a different gameplay, which is untrue. --217.129.133.230 15:50, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
