Feedback talk:User/Fanmad/Why looking at character's butt?
Best page title ever. elix Omni 18:23, 11 April 2011 (UTC) Guild Wars 1 and 2 have different control schemes. I didn't play GW1, but I thought it used a click-to-move system. Due to GW2's arrow-button-to-move setup, I wouldn't want my character facing me and hitting the left key - only for him to move to his left, my right. It's the same problem that I have with top-down racing games: with the increased priority on movement and placement, a default view of 3rd-person overhead is necessary. It's the same view that we see in many MMOs
Also, who's to say that we won't be able to lock the camera view in a different position? Doubtful, but I think that would solve it. Thunderduck 23:02 May 3 (UTC)
...I'm not sure you make your point clear enough, what exactly are you asking for? Because it sounds like you want the ability to change camera angles (a standard part of about 95% of rpg's and mmo's), and thats not making a lot of sense to me. Playing from any angle other than behind the character, in 3rd or, less-maneuverable, 1st person makes no logical sense. Also @ Thunderduck GW1 wasn't only click-to-move, it could be if you chose to only click to move, but most people play it with arrow keys or WASD like any other RPG. 19:53, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

What you are referring to is known as third person shooter, not fps or first person shooter. || DarkMugen 02:57, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
