Feedback talk:User/Helyanwe/Make Gem Cards available at local game stores

Good suggestion. I've seen this done with other games in which cards are available for purchase in various in-game currency denominations or for a certain amount of subscription time (for those games which charge monthly fees). These cards have a code to type into the game to then unlock that in-game currency or the monthly subscription fee credit. I've even seen these offered at Walmart. Whether you love or hate Walmart, there's no denying if ArenaNet could establish a contract with them to offer these cards, they would be quite a coup for them. If potential abuses to this system could be countered and the cost of producing the gem cards isn't prohibitive, this would be another potential revenue stream for ArenaNet.

P.S. If anyone at ArenaNet takes this suggestion seriously and wishes to pursue it, then let me know on my talk page. I have a cousin who works for Walmart's marketing division and I would gladly put you in touch. No con job, no middle-man fee, no strings attached. I love the game and want to help in whatever small way I can to see it succeed and ArenaNet prosper; which can only make the game and its successors better. Let me know. Thanks and Thanks! I think Walmart would be a great single store to deal with, they're everywhere and having one distributor would keep costs down. (there's one across the street from my local gaming store) I've been checking out the cost of the cards themselves and they're cheap, it's distribution, merchant costs and tax that would make or break the profit of these cards.
