&quote& World of Warcraft &quote& Why don't you add unlimited level cap and stupid grind-quests as well? (add sarcasm) would be lovely (end sarcasm) (kill 10000945943098535 flame djinns and return to me). though maybe a salvage kit dedicated to exploiting corpses to get salvage materials from them would be a good idea.--IsaaC Vow of Strength.jpgThe Sinful 00:36, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

And being able to skin others in PvP as well :S - J.P.ContributionsTalk 00:38, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

LOL! that would be cool. skull of wammo warrior (use to make pvp obby armor) :)--IsaaC Vow of Strength.jpgThe Sinful 00:43, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Player skinning would be funny, but no thanks! They are called drops for a reason, you shouldn't have to spend a chunk of time after you kill something to get loot. Crafting? Mining? We are heroes, not commoners. "Job" systems like these are fun for single-player RPGs, or deeper role-play, but this should be an adventure game, not a career, sorry! Mechanics like this are useful in grinding games to distract from the monotony, and ensure that a player wastes as much time as possible instead of actually playing the game, so a certain company can continue collecting a monthly fee. You don't have to be so negative D: --I Sasuke Uhchicha I 00:06, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Plus great leaders also work with what you call "commoners." Without these followers, who would we be a hero to? --I Sasuke Uhchicha I 00:10, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

I guess I missed the parts in Halo when Master Chief has laundry duty, or in Star Wars when a Jedi goes off to skin animals to make money as a material trader in spare time :D I don't mean to make fun, I'm just showing how crazy it sounds that we need 2nd jobs in a game. The game should be enough work and fun without filler. Xiaquin Crystal Snowflake.png 17:56, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
What would you do when you get bored, have nothign to do, beat the game many times over, and are bored of teh regyular farms and are short on materials? Plus its just an idea, and how can you call something crazy when there is no normal? --I Sasuke Uhchicha I 20:02, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Currently there are titles to sink time into, which grant rewards, more or less. There's also more obsessive activity such as elite armor collecting or custom armor pieces. These are luxuries and make more sense than putting in activity which basically is "grinding" in a different light. In any case, if you have beaten a game several times over and are bored of "farming", you should play something else, just like you do after you get bored of any other game. If you don't like the idea, ignore it.... --I Sasuke Uhchicha I 20:49, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
I dunno, I think this idea has a bit of potential. Instead of herding towards the idea where you have to grind and grind to do something, how about making a feat out of it? One way to do this to allow a necromancer to harvest different parts of a defeated foe to gain different effects. Harvest the head for an energy boost, the bones for a strength boost and the heart for a health boost - with failure rates, stacking limits and time durations. That's where I was going... Not like the s**** grinding from WoW. --I Sasuke Uhchicha I 20:10, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
