Aura of Holy Might after the Dervish Update[edit]

I already wrote about it on John's Stumme talk page(which was when i didn't know how to start a user feedback page). Anyway in my opinion the PvE only skill Aura of Holy Might isn't as good as compared to its old version. However as you all know the main reason it was changed was because other proffessions abused it while making the dervish less good. But with the recent update to Dervish the skill would have been great even while compared to other proffessions while used by a dervish. The change to this skill practically made otehr proffessions with scythes almost or completely worse then the dervish before its update. I mean you could have just linked the skill to mysticism(much like the ele kurz/lux skill Elemental Lord) say 12% of the bonus dmg will be linked to the kurz/ux title and the rest of the bonus dmg will be linked to Mysticism, that way other proffessions will be able to use their scythe with decent dmg but they wont be compared to the derv because he recieves more dmg with mysticism. However with the understanding of the chage to the skill Asuran Scan, Aura of Holy Might was indeed too powerfull. Therefore wouldnt doing what i said about linking the skill to mysticism AND reducing its total dmg(right now it was 32% so isnt 20% or even 15% more viable?) so the derv will still get more dmg bonus and otehr proffessions will still be able to use a scythe?. I knwo this has been before but stil la good option :). Although i said all that i don't think that its current version is bad, but compared to its older version the dmg it adds is realy small. So if you want to keep its current version instead of doing what i suggested at least up its dmg a bit(25 isnt much as Zealous Renewel does about the same amount so 40 dmg(when maxed title) will be a nice start^^).


A few skill suggestions for the chagned derv skills[edit]

Well so far i like the dervish update however there are 3 skills that i would like to point out:

  • Aura of Holy Might - as i said aobve the skill is a bit weak and i think its dmg should be upped a bit say 35 holy dmg when title is maxed.
  • Radiant Scythe - i think 6 Adrenal cost is a bit big, although not too big i think 4 or even 5 adrenal cost will be a bit better(kinda hard to use it as energy management attack).
  • Balthazar's Rage - the skill itself is good but simillarly to Radiant Scythe it gives a bit too small adrenal gain(2 adrenal isnt enough for most of the derv skills) therefore i think upping the adrenal gain from 2 to 3 will give more spammablity to adrenal skills. you gain 1 adrenal with a hit and only 2 more with it ending but its not enough to use an adrenal skill(since the minimum cost i saw is 4 and its only 2 skills with adrenal cost of 4) therefore upping the adrenal gain from 2 to 3 will let u use adrenal skills of cost of 4 immediatly and will let you use other skills with higher adrenal cost a bit faster.
