See https://forum.guildwars.com/forum/forums/gamebugs/Winds-of-Change-and-Vanquishing/page/1#post4115 Specifically, "We are aware of the difficulty of the post Winds of Change mobs, and we currently don’t have any plans of changing them." 98.88.135.220 19:06, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

That's just awful of them. Terrible.
Does anybody know how to reply on that forum? I don't see a button (I AM logged in). Thanks. Daddicus 22:58, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
That particular thread was closed (which is why you cannot reply). — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 00:28, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
That's not the same as saying that they don't recognize that there are probably two bugs in WoC (the first: 500 foes in Mini Cho's estate after WoC starts vs 200 before; the second: taking toons that haven't even finished Factions still doesn't suppress the mobs). I'm still hopeful that both bugs will be fixed before the next installment.
I'm less confident that ANet will offer an option to opt out of Beyond content, but... depends how many people request/suggest it. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:17, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

I agree 100%[edit]

I am in agreement with your suggestion 100%. But, I would go further: ALL WoC areas need to revert back to their pre-WoC state once WoC is completed, not just Minister Cho's. The vanquishing title is essentially impossible for normal players now. But, even if it weren't that difficult, the change means different people are having to perform different actions to attain the same title someone earned just a few months ago. But then again, WoC part 2 is not out yet, so it's not "done" per ce. Perhpas if they finally finish dishing out WoC main quests then we may test for the reversion after completing them. K61824 01:37, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

This area needs to be changed in some way[edit]

Either

a) Reduce mob size to 4. b) Give some special drops etc that we can't get anywhere else.

It doesn't make sense. The enemies are supposed to be scavengers. They're peasants wearing rags and they're kicking the asses of characters who have obsidian armor and have saved the world 5-6 times! To make matters worse, it's a starter area! Be reasonable Anet! Bhagwad 03:11, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

Still way too hard[edit]

Even with the reduced group-size of 4, the scavengers are overpowered. I tried to vanquish the estate yesterday and today for more than 3 hours, but its impossible. No chance for my warrior, even with summoning-stones and consets. I suggest the scavenger's skills should be nerfed. Maybe just replace their builds with the afflicted ones? And another point: Actually the estate wasn't really cleansed, there was only the rescue-qust. So where and why are the afflicted gone? Oh, and before i forget: i'm german, so please excuse grammar-mistakes. Greetings, DT (13.Dec.2011, 14:19 UTC)
