I'm 100% sure i heard "I needed to keybind some keys because the 6-0 are quite hard to reach" from the commentary in a pvp video of the mesmer in youtube. So it definitely you can bind your keys with normal letters(R,F,G,V - that are easy to reach). About the ctrl, shift, alt modifiers i haven't heard anything, but i think we'll be good and without them - its not like we have 40+ skills like in Aion or WoW, we have 12-15. - Still no reason to not allow it. I'd like to see that as well. - Ander01 11:17, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
- I may be fussing over a small detail but I would also love to see this implemented. I've seen a surprisingly large amount of people on forums and reddit saying that they wont play the game if they can't use modifier keys for keybinds. My concern with the issue is that each class has their 5 weapons skill, 5 utility skills and then their class specific keys such as attunements and kits etc that wouldn't really make binding all of them around the WASD keys a bit tricky (I think the F key is actually something like the talk or interact button). BWE2 Implemented this[edit]
They have implemented this and all three are usable at the same time Ctrl+Alt+Shift+<key> was bindable, now we just need a show/hide chat window in the binds list and an open skill switcher for each utility skill that has that. --Skekzyz 01:26, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
