I always thought you could interrupt binding rituals, i mean they have a pretty long activation time in PvP. Lou Wolfskin 00:40, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- You can, but currently this lets them recharge instantly when interrupted. --67.240.88.57 00:50, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- The recharge upon interruption seems like a bug, not like an intentional feature. ~Shard 01:27, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well, that would mean Glyph of Renewal is bugged too. Lou Wolfskin 09:30, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- yeah well i think the fact that it effects only one spell balances that out. this recharges all your spirits you cast for the time it's up, so i think a change like this or have this a one time use would be alright--BobbyT 10:17, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- Just wanted to point it out. For the suggestion, it looks alright and i don't think this should be limited to PvP only, i've never seen someone run this skill in PvE anyway, not even after the buff so you could change it for both. Lou Wolfskin 14:00, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- well to be fair...not a whole lot of rit elites get used for some reason--BobbyT 20:55, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm saying this as someone who's refusing to play a spirit spammer: This elite is, outside of specific situations like Fort Aspenwood, really, really...useless. I tried to build some strange resto-communing-hybrid with it that functions somehow but other than that i don't know why i, or anyone else, should get this elite into a build at the moment. - Its anything but useless; the prebuff version was useless as it didnt reduce anything. Some veteran Spirit Lords dont like Signet of Spirits (too many newbie rits seems to only know how to run those), and many fullfill other essential party functions such as defensive and healing roles. --96.240.34.47 23:37, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

- Making it removable enchantment spell would easily address whatever HA balance issue you may have.
- Soul Twisting (PvP) - Spawning Power -
5 ¼ 15 - Elite Enchantment Spell. (5...37...45 seconds.) Your Binding Rituals cost 15 less Energy (minimum 10) and recharge instantly. Ends after 1...3...3 Binding Ritual[s].
- First off, im propably biased on ST since I and others on the wiki have campaigned a long time for Anet to make it useful instead of useless, but this is what I know based on the current meta. Healers boon combined with soul twisting in HA sees use in some of the gimic builds, makes BB warrior sway very hard to beat when they have ST-Rit. It used to be shutdown ranger spirits and roll sway, but now ST makes it really hard when utilized by a good team. Faced it ealier today, the elementalist couldn't keep up with the ritualist, while I busied PDing ranger. Ive ran prot spirits before buffs... all ST did was make it sustaible in a way old Ritual Lord was horrible at which kept it all but useless... But now ST is insanely good in FA, as it can hold one side shut thought an entire match if the allied team is good and/or the opposing team is terrible. It still chokes against a good opposing team, where an assassin or ranger gets passed idiot allies to gank me.
- It would be nice if Anet would just make individual variants of PvP skills/builds, like with Codex skills and GvG-variant skills. Smiters boon before the pvp-nerf would work perfectly in Codex Arena. The current pvp-spirits Recuperation and Recovery -only- affects party members during Guild vs Guild and im happy with that. It doesnt help that the 2 mesmer skills used -heavily- to combat spirits were changed; the ST problem could easily be remedy by increasing the effectiveness of anti-spirits skills. That, or get rid of Signet of Humility's nerf. Humilty + PD and its lights out on the rit... disable Soul Twisting and Boon of Creation... and thier useless in protting/attaking/healing. But here'in lies another problem: it hurst in HA to lose a hard rez or a rez sig to use humility. So the true problem may lie with the HA rules/gameplay themselves, not so much the ST skill; that and Anets failure to truely fix broken gimic builds. GvG, HA, RA, CA, AB... they are as different from each other as they are from PvE. --Falconeye 06:33, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- If there is one thing this game does not need it's more splitskills, it's already confusing enough if you're playing PvE and PvP and yes, there are still ppl playing both. Lou Wolfskin 08:36, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
