ARage, Caretakers Bloodsong and Channeled are all balanced.--83.82.62.210 23:18, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm going to assume you're being sarcastic? Here's some explanation:
  • Arage is entirely dependent on spirits. Most teams run a grand total of ONE of them. Even with 3 spirits, though, it's not really amazing: 120 damage on spikes isn't hands-down better than anything that casters pack in the current meta. At it's very best, it's competitive with Rodgort's or Chain Lightning.
  • Caretaker's is also entirely dependent on spirits. If a team is allowing a rit to get Caretaker's off on recharge, they are doing something wrong.
  • Bloodsong is a level 5 spirit with tiny AoE (if you want it to trigger on backline, it needs to be sitting in the other team's midline). Level 5 spirits have 31 armor and 100 Health. It can trigger a grand total of ten times, and dies if someone looks at it hard. Once again, if a team is getting wiped by Bloodsong, they are doing something wrong.
  • Channeled is like Smite Hex, if used on, say, a warrior. Except it doesn't remove a hex and it doesn't ignore armor and it costs twice as much and takes twice as long to cast and the AoE is half as large. The only time it's incredible is when used on a spirit, and, even then, it's being used on a level 5 target that needs to be pretty much in the target's face. Oh, and holding an item is a pretty significant drawback.
There's a reason I've reduced all of the spirits' levels: they create a framework for other rit skills. That framework needs to be easy to tear down if any positive reinforcement concept is going to work. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 23:42, 1 Feb 2011 (UTC)
Oh wow, just wow. Uninstall please? How is ARage dependant on spirits? Caretaker's dependant on spirits? wat!?? Bloodsong tiny AoE? wat?! Channeled is bad?! Channeled Strike spike?! wat! Uninstall please.--83.82.62.210 22:52, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
I was operating under the assumption that you were referring to my proposed versions (sarcastically, at that); my previous post should make more sense, with that in mind.
That being said, their current dinctionalities aren't in line with the proposed role that rots are to play. Please understand that no one of these changes is intended to be viewed in a vacuum; it's a complete rework. They are balanced now, but would not be after all is said and done. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 2:44, 7 Feb 2011 (UTC)
