Feedback talk:User/Satanael/Pet rage on owner's death

If you make it target the killer it could make perfect sense. But, as you said, the bonus should not be too much, or people would activate the shouts and then let the enemy kill them to get deaths, which is not a desirable behavior. Whatever the bonus is, it should be linked to beast mastery and last more the higher the rank.

It would be interesting if each animal had a different 'rage effect'. Not all of them could be for damage. For example, the Phoenix and the Crane could try to use Resurrect on you, the Bear could be able to use Ursan Rage, the Crab could damage and cripple anything around him as if each of his pincers was a scythe, etc... Yeah, I really like those ideas. Even though it seems ANet doesn't want to make a big difference between pets, I still like the idea of making each one react differently. Although it makes sense, I do think cranes and pheonix resurecting would be too powerful. But I also think it would be cool if each pet spammed a skill, like the different cats could spam Feral Lunge or Pounce, the warthogs could spam Bull's Charge, Bears Ursan Rage, spiders Poisonous Bite, Crabs Maiming Strike, wolves Brutal Strike or Volfen Claw, crocs Bestial Mauling, birds could use Disrupting Lunge or Raven Shriek. I have no idea if those would be balanced at all or what they would do to the meta game, but I think it would be cool nonetheless. (Satanael 05:44, 8 September 2009 (UTC))
Just had a thought, maybe to balance it out if the damage output gets too high, the pet could also lose some armor while this is under effect. This makes sense, like it is not as good at surviving without its master, so it just does a bunch of damage but takes more damage as well. (Satanael 05:47, 8 September 2009 (UTC))
Well, I chose the weakest resurrect spell, but it could be a monster skill, slower and resurrecting you with even less energy. That way it could be easier to interrupt, and your resurrection would be dangerous in some situations,. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 12:39, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, making it easily interruptable could work, that way it would make it one of those things that's kinda nice when it happens, but don't count on it. (Satanael 15:45, 8 September 2009 (UTC))
