Feedback talk:User/SpiritSplit/In-Game Music Playlist

I agree it should be possible. There's one thing I'm worried about though. I don't know how they do it in other games but is there also a solution for cinematics/important speeches? It would be annoying if you would hear youre music and the cinematic talking at the same time, or miss an important speech message during a fight because youre music is too loud compared to the ingame music. Besides that thing I mentioned I dont see a reason why they should not do it --Kilaa1000 21:12, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Thank's for showing your support. To answer your question: Other games really don't have to worry about this issue. There's not too many other MMO's that have both cinematic's and an in-game music playlist. However, did you know that ArenaNet is implementing an in game voice chat system? Same issue here. Do you really want to here other people yaking their gums off during the cinematic? Anyways, the simple solution to the problem is for the game to automaticlly mute the in-game playlist and other player's Mic. This way the cinematic and it's matching music play. Once complete, your playlist and other player's mic will un-mute. --SpiritSplit 00:03, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

Also, during cinematics, the game will switch back to the music originally recorded for that cinematic. When the cinematic ends, it returns to the game's default playlist or your own customized playlist. Guild Wars 3 perhaps 21:55, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
