It's okay right now, else it isn't worth an elite spell if it doesn't heal a thing, think about it. --Kali Shin Shivara 23:56, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Oh god, this is far from okay. How can I word it? Xinrae has an in-built protective bond and a vampiric gaze. Spammable 5 energy and steal serious chunks of life as well as being in the Restoration Magic line meant to heal. A Xinrae/Vengeful is usually something like a "passive damage healing ritualist". They do considerable (armor-ignoring) damage and they keep the bars up. That doesn't make any sense. Skill can be brainlessly spammed over and over again without any strategic use as well as being terribly hard to interrupt. My suggestion is to make this skill similar to reversal of damage/fortune while keeping the 5% max damage and everything else. This would make the "brainless spam" (red barring button mashing) far less effective as well as balancing the life stealing part of the skill. This way, if a Warrior is spearing someone to gain adrenaline, he won't lose 160 health, he will lose 2-10 at most but wise usage of Xinrae/WoR will throw back the damage of strong skills like Eviscerate if nicely timed. The skill heals, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Ever attempted to solo a Xinrae rit with a melee character? You kill yourself basically and your damage gets outhealed easily. My suggestion forces better use of the skill and would fix Codex/RA gayage done with this skill: sounds fair to me. Think about it some more. Sincerely, SylvXIII 22:25, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

I think this fixes all the problems this skill currenly has. Morphy 15:55, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

This suggestion is exactly what these skills need. Vengeful weapon should work this way as well. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 02:05, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

How would you deal with the condition removal? Leave it as-is? For some reason, I don't like the mechanic, but idk. I'd probably be fine with it if it removed after the damage was dealt (so hitting a WoR with Dismember would do nothing), but I just don't like it as is. :\ User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 02:31, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

The condition removal part of the skill is not the problem. See Life Sheath. Instant cond-removal on an elite slot seems fair and covering conditions is effective against a WoR Rit. Sincerely, SylvXIII 17:34, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
I wasn't suggesting that the condition removal was breaking the skill in any way; it actually feels... clunky, to me. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 19:20, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
